What are the advantages of a hybrid program compared to a traditional in-person program?
Hybrid programs offer flexibility, allowing students to complete coursework at home online during a live Zoom, while still receiving hands-on training during the later portion of the program.
Will I be prepared after completing the IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal program?
Absolutely! Our 36-hour program will immerse LVNs in a comprehensive blend of 27 hours of engaging lectures and 9 hours of hands-on clinical experience.
Didactic Brilliance (27 hours): Engage on the art of learning through online lectures conducted via Zoom with instructive videos, dynamic PowerPoint presentations, though-provoking case study discussion, and worksheets with quizzes to enhance your knowledge.
In-person Clinical Mastery (9 hours): Elevate your expertise as you perform a minimum of 3 individually supervised successful venipunctures and 3 individually supervised skin punctures (capillary blood withdrawal) on live human subjects.
How is the hands-on skill experience component handled in a hybrid program?
Students are required to attend all 9hrs of in-person skill experience at our facilities under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
